Overview

The Bookkeeper F&I is a non-exempt position and is expected to ensure compliant and efficient handing of F&I product components.

 

This position contributes to the success of Rusnak Automotive Group (the Company) by overseeing all acquisitions and sales of vehicle inventory, updating and reviewing vehicle information in CDK vehicle and organizing and maintaining inventory records and files for each franchise, to ensure that all inventory processes and procedures are successfully completed. This position also contributes to success by effectively and efficiently reviewing schedules, reconciling accounts, processing F&I product cancellations and taking appropriate action on various accounting duties and processes.

Responsibilities

Effectively and Efficiently Handling F&I Product Cancellation and other Bookkeeping Duties for All Franchises:

  • Process F&I product cancellations and ensure timely follow up on outstanding items.
  • Prepare and distribute Contracts and Transit (CIT).
  • Reconcile the funding notices to contract.
  • Follow up on unpaid incentive items for assigned stores.
  • Prepare and distribute incentive receivable schedules.
  • Monitor Overseas Delivery (OSD) deals for all stores.
  • Assist the F&I Director with special projects as needed.
  • Process all direct purchases and trade paperwork for units being acquired into inventory; calculates any outstanding fees, creates file and properly records into the accounting system.
  • Verifies delivery of all new car inventories and enters into the accounting system.
  • Processes required paperwork for designated dealer trades; completes MSO reassignment
  • Processes required paperwork for used car purchases; verifies registration is current before payment is released.
  • Captures complete costs of DMV fees when stocking used vehicle into inventory; verifies accuracy and completeness of all paperwork related to used vehicles.
  • Process flooring payments.
  • Assist with Manufacturer or Bank representatives with flooring audits.

Qualifications

 

Education, licenses, certification, and/or essential qualifications

  • Desired: Minimum of 3 years in position of Sales/Finance or similar positions in automotive industries.
  • Required: H.S. Diploma/GED
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; at least 3 years automotive related experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • At least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Required: Current California Driver License with satisfactory Department of Motor Vehicle driving record.
