Our Jaguar/Land Rover dealership in Anaheim Hills is seeking a Quality Control Administrator/Shuttle Driver. This is a great opportunity to take your automotive career to the next level. In this position, you will contribute to the success of Rusnak Group by enhancing the customers’ service experience by driving them to or picking them up while service is being performed on their vehicles. and by effectively, efficiently, and correctly ensuring proper repair of all vehicles in a safe and timely manner, maintaining the Service Departments’ quality control efforts to uphold the highest levels of professional integrity and achieving individual proficiency rate goals as well as franchise goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

Effectively and Efficiently Administer Quality Control Activities:

  • Successfully minimizes comebacks by conducting periodic spot checks of completed jobs to ensure thoroughness and quality of service/repair work.
  • Inspects recently purchased and comeback vehicles to ensure proper corrections have been made and the condition of vehicle meets all Company and Manufacturer specifications.
  • Administers Repair Orders inspections and ensures that they include complete documentation and the proper warranty procedures have been followed.
  • Performs road testing as required.
  • Understands and follows all applicable Company, local, state, and federal regulations on hazardous waste and Occupational Safety and Health Association (OSHA) right-to-know.
  • Assists the Service Manager to supervise the quality control activities within the Service department.

 

Successfully Provide Shuttle Service to Customers:

  • Drives customers to their homes or places of business and picks them up after their vehicle is repaired.
  • Uses good judgment and safe driving skills.
  • Keeps a timely shuttle route
  • Assists passengers getting in and out of vehicles
  • Operates radio or similar device to communicate with dealership or other vehicles to report disruption of service Assists passengers getting in and out of vehicles
  • Keeps a record of trips including names of passengers and destination or pick-up point.
  • Notifies dispatcher or service manager of any servicing the shuttle vehicle may require, such as oil changes, tires, cleaning, and general maintenance.
  • Maintains a professional appearance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Required: Minimum of 1 years in position of related driving.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (Bi-lingual in English and Spanish or other language is an asset in this position).
  • License (required): Current California Driver License with satisfactory Department of Motor Vehicle driving record.
  • Experience (Required or ideal): A minimum of 5+ years in position of Quality Control Inspector or similar positions in Automotive, Retail, Sales, Hospitality, industryies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; at least 3 years retail related experience.

High School Diploma/GED : Required

Licenses Required

Valid CA Driver License
