We are seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to contribute to the success of the Marketing Department by providing strategic guidance and managing daily operations to align the department with the Company’s goals and objectives while adhering and promoting the RUSNAK standard.

Please note that the Senior Marketing Manager requires a minimum of 10 years of experience.

Responsibilities

 

Effectively Executes a Long-Term Marketing Strategy for the Company:

  • Assist Marketing Director in developing a brand strategy for all current products, by developing ongoing Sales, Service and CRM Direct Marketing programs.
  • Oversee and guide the implementation of the marketing strategy
  • Assist Marketing Director in evaluating and administering an annual marketing budget that is in line with the Company’s objectives
  • Assist Marketing Director with market research studies to track consumer trends and activities of competitors to make necessary adjustments to ensure “The Rusnak Standard” remains viable and relevant.
  • Manage and measure marketing campaign costs to ensure alignment to current goals
  • Report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using pre-determined KPIs
  • Partners with Sales to develop strategies to maximize profits, while balancing customer satisfaction

 

Efficiently Manages All Operations of the Marketing Department

  • Works with the Marketing Director to guide the day-to-day activities of the Marketing team including managing the Rusnak marketing team, marketing agencies and vendors.
  • Communicates the marketing goals and objectives to the team in a clear, concise, and consistent manner
  • Oversees digital and social media marketing strategy and content marketing
  • Supports dealerships in a professional manner with informed advice and recommendations to drive their businesses
  • Monitors and evaluates all marketing programs to ensure efficacy
  • Works closely with the Marketing Director, CFO and Finance staff to develop reports and systems to monitor advertising budgets for all franchises.
  • Develops processes and capabilities of the Marketing Department to deliver quality results in a timely fashion.
  • Develops and maintains partner relationships with businesses with similar clients or products for public relations event enhancements.
  • Oversees CRM campaign maintenance and training along with CRM reporting and training support for dealership teams.

Maintain a productive workforce that efficiently meets the needs of the company:

  • Manage, model, set tone, and guide employees in the company’s culture and service expectations (The RUSNAK Standard); develop a workforce that is highly engaged and committed to the franchise and RUSNAK organization.
  • Plan, direct, coordinate and supervise work activities of subordinates ensuring all services are consistently performed on a timely manner per franchise and company policy and guidelines.
  • Evaluate and hold employees accountable for results and quality of service; provide clear performance expectations, training, coaching, and discipline in a timely manner and in accordance with company policy.
  • Maintain adequate staffing level; plan staffing needs proactively, develop budget, create accurate job descriptions, recruit in a timely manner, hire individuals well qualified for their position that embody the company values.
  • Foster collaboration and ownership among staff; engage staff in planning, process improvement, strategy implementation, and as appropriate in conflict resolution, problem solving, etc.
  • Develop staff and encourage professional and personal growth through hands-on training, coaching, and mentoring to meet current and future department and company needs.

Maintain an efficient and cost-effective operation:

  • Manage department budget; payroll, supplies, training, staff morale incentives; audit supply, projects, vendor, and programs cost to ensure cost containment within yearly budget, ROI, and quality of service.
  • Collaborate with other departments to find solutions that are in the best interest of the company; interact efficiently with team leaders, supervisors, and staff to resolve interdepartmental processes and cost containment.
  • Ensure employees maintain current department procedures, policy, guidelines manuals; maintain workforce current on relevant government laws, regulations, Company guidelines and policies, and best practices.
  • Manage and plan workflow and timelines effectively to ensure on-time delivery of department deliverables.
  • Foster efficiency; continuously seek to improve processes, products and services; solicit and apply employee and management feedback regarding department’s quality of service; conduct regular service surveys reviews.
  • Maintains information confidential; ensure that work area is secure, store and distribute personnel, client, and company information according to legal and company guidelines; do not discuss confidential information with anyone except as allowed by law and required for business purposes.

Qualifications

  • Desired: Minimum of 10-15 years in position of Marketing Manager or similar positions in Automotive, Retail, Sales, Hospitality, or Food & Beverage industries.
  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent in Marketing or related field, or equivalent of 5 years’ experience in same/similar position.
  • Desired: Certification in Digital Marketing
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • At least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Desired or Required: Current California Driver License with satisfactory Department of Motor Vehicle driving record.
